Welcome back! On behalf of the entire Dining Services Team, I would like to thank you for participating in our on-campus dining programs.

I would like to update you on last semester’s changes in our various dining locations. Seasons Dining Hall was re-energized with some structural changes and new menu options. The salad bar was expanded to offer more varieties of lettuce, dressings, and additional items such as tofu, edamame beans, and prepared salads for healthier eating options.

The Deli station has a new look and sandwiches prepared to order from an expanded menu and have been a terrific success. A Garden Toss and Pasta Toss station was added along with a new pizza program. Cut fresh fruit is now available every day and every meal along with a new entrée menu including weekly carving stations.

In our new retail locations, Einstein’s was clearly the most popular tallying 75.700 transactions last semester. Einstein’s recently updated their menu to include wraps. Currito was also very popular with 29,500 transactions last semester. Most popular was the “build your own Burrito” as customers liked the ability to customize their order. A&W had a strong following with 13,100 transactions last semester. The Root Beer Floats were very popular along with the Bacon Double Cheeseburger combos. This semester we have expanded hours of operation at the Dana Center. Last but certainty not least is Dunkin Donuts who averaged 2,500 transactions per week. A cup of hot fresh D.D. coffee and an egg sandwich was the most popular choice for the student on the go!

All of theses changes and improvements have come directly from feedback and suggestions from Student Focus Groups, Food Service Advisory Board, presentations from students in classroom activities, and from the Dining Services website.
